I’m Lauren, the founder and sole educator at Victory Prep. For over 15 years, I’ve helped students not only improve their test scores, but truly thrive, gaining admission to top-tier schools, and securing life-changing scholarships.

However, I didn’t go through the traditional route to become a tutor. I was studying at a music conservatory when I started building this business on the side. Since then, I’ve worn a lot of hats: vocal director at a high school and being a robotics and coding instructor at an afterschool program. And through it all, it made me realize that I love helping students win—not just academically, but in finding their voice, their drive, and their future.

Victory Prep is built on the belief that success isn’t about how “smart” you are, it’s about showing up, thinking deeply, and pushing yourself further than you thought you could go. It’s about challenges, but also joy. We work hard here but we also laugh, explore, and connect. Students don’t just tolerate our sessions, they look forward to them.

Yes, test prep can be a drag. College admissions can feel like a necessary evil. But we flip the script. Our sessions become opportunities to dive into literature, culture, history, technology, whatever sparks curiosity. We use standardized tests as a jumping-off point to develop critical thinking and real-world problem solving. In the process, students discover how to own their education and take pride in their progress.
